01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Ogden, Utah, Ramen Haus offers an authentic taste of Japan with a specialty in classic ramen and Asian comfort food that instantly warms the soul. This vibrant ramen restaurant invites diners to savor deeply flavorful broths, delicately crafted noodles, and an array of enticing appetizers that awaken the palate with every bite.

Ramen Haus’s menu highlights a diversity of broths, each a labor of love simmered to perfection. The large Miso Broth, rich with fermented soybean paste, tofu, seaweed, and scallions, delivers a hearty, umami-packed experience that’s both comforting and invigorating. For those craving something richer, the large Pork Broth offers a deeply savory base, enriched by slow-cooked pork bones, garlic, ginger, and green onions—a broth so flavorful it practically sings on the tongue.

Complementing these broths are exquisite starters like the crispy, seasoned Taro Fries paired with a luscious creamy dipping sauce, and perfectly pan-seared Gyoza Potstickers brimming with savory pork and vegetable filling. The Assorted Pickles bring an irresistible burst of tang and crunch, balancing the rich ramen flavors with a refreshing crispness.

At Ramen Haus, the sensory journey continues with customer favorites such as the Takoyaki—round, golden-brown octopus balls with the ideal exterior crisp and tender center, praised by patrons for their “literal perfection.” Whether you’re digging into the sumptuous Tonkotsu Ramen with its creamy broth or enjoying a Shoyu or Curry Udon, each dish is carefully prepared to deliver layered, harmonious flavors that satisfy deeply.

The atmosphere here is as inviting as the menu. Diners appreciate the quick seating and attentive yet unobtrusive service—a blend that creates a relaxed dining environment ideal for families, solo ramen enthusiasts, and groups alike. Kids can delight in customized ramen portions, making it a welcoming spot for all ages. The quiet yet lively setting allows the rich aromas and textures of the dishes to shine.

For those who love to personalize their meal, extras like spiced Reaper Miso Paste add a fiery twist, while options such as extra seaweed or panko tofu enhance the texture and flavor profile, inviting guests to tailor their bowls to their exact desire.

Overall, Ramen Haus is a gem for anyone seeking genuine Japanese ramen crafted with care and passion in Ogden. The glowing reviews and enthusiastic repeat visits tell the story of a place that doesn’t just serve ramen—it creates moments of pure delight in every bowl.

Whether you crave a comforting bowl on a cold day or want to explore distinctive Asian flavors, Ramen Haus promises a culinary experience that is both authentic and deeply satisfying.

Takoyaki: literal perfection good god the temp and cook of the takoyaki is literal perfection and the flavors are spot on. I would’ve taken pictures but I ate all of it like a snake. I did attach a picture of the empty plate though. Steamed buns: perfectly delicious and the bun didn’t get soggy at all. Tonkotsu Ramen: super delicious the broth is basically a requirement for the whole plate to work together so if you think it’s bland add more broth. Asahi beer: wasn’t ice ice cold but was cold enough to enjoy they come only in 20oz too so get to drinking.

Very good service was great and kids can chose a ramen and make it kids size. If you want something salty I recommend the Shio and Suyu ramen. Also a good one is to tonkatsu ramen. We got the food very fast and was fresh.

Super quick getting seated and getting food! Everything I've had here has been super delicious! I've especially liked the rice bowl, curry udon, and shoyu ramen. Beware of the cold ramen though- it really is FREEZING COLD and I wouldn't suggest it unless you have time to wait for it to thaw.

Food was delicious, ordered the katsu pork curry. Great Japanese curry flavor, the only thing I would add to the dish is pieces of a crisp apple, food texture was pretty much the same and needed something else! Atmosphere was nice and quiet! Our server was nice but we only saw them when they took the order and picked up the check. No refills which was a bummer, no other opportunity to order additional dishes either. Definitely worth giving a try though if you’re looking for something tasty!

The food was really good here... But the service, not as much. I ordered the Umami Bomb Ramen. Mostly great. The broth was really flavorful and everything but the ground pork was good. If I go back, it won't be for the ground pork. On another note, it's not really enough food. I was hungry again just two hours later. I could order appetizers, but the bill was already over $20 after the ramen, soda, the tip. On the topic of service, the staff was really nice and polite, but they visited my table to take the order, deliver it, and then get the check. I was out of things to drink for more than half my visit and I didn't even get a look. I don't mind waiting if it's busy, but a refill would have been nice. I may have ordered an appetizer or something more had I even had the chance. Overall, don't hesitate to go. It could have been an off night. The food is worth it.

Their Tonkotsu Ramen was pretty darn good, and I lived in Japan for 4 years. Broth was good. The noodles are excellent, just like Japan. Price was pretty good too. Id go back for the ramen. Their Gyoza, not that great, they deep fry them. And the karaage wasn't anything to write home about either. But the ramen was good and the atmosphere, great decor, just like Japan
